Gingerbread - gives adults a reason to play with frosting and candy!

I built my first Gingerbread House in December 1990.  The next year we added windows and lights - I was hooked!  A few years later I decided to develop this Gingerbread website.  A place to encourage beginners and inspire the advanced. 

Check out our Gingerbread website - I try to have everything a Gingerbread Builder could want!  Recipes, Patterns,  Photos, Ideas, Links, Forum, Chat, and even a Gingerbread Yahoo E-Mail Group.  

Our mission is to provide a Gingerbread House website that is devoted to family traditions, and that remains family, child and user-friendly.  To maintain a family and child friendly Gingerbread website, we adhere to the following:

  • To prevent unwanted and undesirable spam, all messages on the Yahoo e-mail group from new members are moderated.  Spam messages are deleted before ever reaching group distribution. 

  • Postings on the Gingerbread Forum are moderated daily to help prevent spamming and unwanted postings.

  • We manually upload all photo's, thereby preventing any non-gingerbread photo's from inhabiting our Gingerbread Photo Album.

  • There are no unwanted pop-up advertisements on our Gingerbread websites, or in our Gingerbread Forum.

  • We only allow advertising banners, and links to websites or items, that help support the Gingerbread House building hobby.
