What's the easiest Gingerbread House for young Children? The Milk-Carton Gingerbread House!  It's easy, simple and kids love it.

Below is a list of Materials Needed and Instructions (per child):

  •   A Small pint size milk carton

  •   Graham crackers (3 per child)

  •   Frosting (you can even use store bought from a can)

  •   Plastic Knife

  •   Paper Plate

  •   Candy

Break the graham crackers in half (so you now have 6 halves per house).  Have each child frost one side of the graham cracker half and place on each side of the milk carton.  Do the same for the roof.  The child can then put frosting on the house and stick candy to it.  The paper plate is used as the gingerbread (milk carton) house base, plus it keeps the candy from rolling around.

Children are very proud to have built their first Gingerbread house!  This works great for Children's Gingerbread House parties as well.
